Holy Kosher Serving Sydney
Holy Kosher: the greatest certifier of Kosher eateries for Sydneysiders
Kashrus certification is about establishing and maintaining standards and protocols. The foods and processes must satisfy strict Halachic standards, and protocols introduced to maintain and verify those standards must be rigorously followed. We at Holy Kosher! take the view that Kosher is a partnership between ourselves and the manufacturer/producer. Gaining and maintaining the goodwill and co-operation of those we certify is most important. It is impossible to provide reliable Kosher certification when the partner resents the certifier or the Mashgichim. Constant Kosher supervision is required in some situations. For example, an establishment providing Kosher meat, which is fairly easy to substitute with non-Kosher meat and also extremely profitable requires full time supervision at the every least, and sometimes even that is not enough. On the other hand, a facility such as Kellogs or Sanitarium, have extremely rigid and exacting internal food standards which in most cases more than satisfies Halachic requirements. In these circumstances supervision is determined by maintaining contact with the manufacturer and being kept abreast of all changes under consideration. |
From our humble initial work with the Funky Pies company, we have expanded to provide Kosher to the Sydney Jewish community through the many outlets of the IKU WholeFoods company. Holy Kosher is now the greatest provider of Kosher eateries for Sydneysiders. We have dedicated Mashgichim - Kosher supervisors who live in Sydney. They are both experienced and knowledgeable.
