Cholov Yisroel Statement:
It’s Kosher has adopted the Halachic guidelines for the provision of Chalav Yisrael, as explained by Rav Zev Weitman, the head Rov of Tnuva, Israel’s largest dairy corporation. Rav Weitman has written extensively in Halachic journals, that Chalav Yisrael can be provided via remote surveillance. Indeed this is the ruling of HaRav Wosner and HaRav Elyashiv. Kosher Milk i.e. Cholov Yisroel is collected from 6 designated farms, with dedicated tanker trucks. These farms are part of a group of 60, managed by one company located in the Kyabram Region of Northern Victoria. |
All Yoghurts are Kosher Chalav Yisrael.
Sahara brand Paneer style cheese is Kosher Gevinas Yisrael made from Chalav Yisrael. Paneer is of Indian origin and probably dates back to Biblical times. Rennet is not used. |
