The Lord of the Fries
Holy Kosher Looks After the Lord
The Lord of the Fries provides a fast serving, meat free experience, that titillates the taste buds and burnishes the belly.
'Holy Kosher - Kosher VeYosher' maintains the Gold Standard for Kashrus, Total Comprehensive Kosher security is the only standard we apply. If the Rabbi will not eat it, we will not approve or advise others to eat it.
Whereas for most Kosher agencies in Australia and the world, that is more the exception than the rule.
But that's why we are Kosher VeYosher, not just scraping through to be Kosher by the skin of the Halachic teeth, but Yosher - true and straight as can be. Fealty to Gd and His Halacha is the hallmark of Yosher.
LotFries is Dairy Free.
We ensure that the bread is Pat Yisrael.
We have designed and implemented rigorous standards for washing, inspecting and checking vegetables. These are documented in precise steps and universally maintained and monitored in all shops. This ensures that they fully comply with Halachah. Surfactants are used in all washes.
All shops have a TeUdah, a letter of Kosher compliance.
refers to the special decree of our Sages, that bread be baked with Jewish participation.
The LOTF is centrally run like many, perhaps even all franchises.
For maintaining Kashrus this is ideal. We have absolute unfettered access to the stores and the suppliers' production facilities where all the components of the LOTF menu are produced. In this facility all foods and ingredients are Kosher.
It also means we have absolute control over every single component in all the shops because everything is monitored run from one office. For so many burgers there must be so many rolls and for so many chips there must be so many potatoes. For so many servings of particular sauces there must be so many litres of that sauce. This is the best Full Time Kosher Supervision.
It is impossible to modify any ingredient or component without leaving tracks of imbalances that will certainly be exposed at the regular business and Kosher audits.
All transactions are registered and linked to HO. This ensures accurate stock control and complete and accurate compliance with the franchise protocols.
Even if a shop runs short of a particular component, they will not, they can not bring in a substitute. The protocols and the checks and balances of their business operations do not permit this.
This is the basic outline that governs the Kashrus protocols for all factories and food processors.
The Lord's Rabbi
Rabbi Moshe D Gutnick of KAS, approves Kosher procedures at Lord of the Fries - writing, 20/8/13: that Shulchan Aruch permits supervising and manufacturing of foods (OC 307) during Shabbat.
He also concedes that with proper procedures, Bishul Akum issues are avoided. ORIGINAL
